Our Story
founded in 2022 by Ghada Alsaheel, Montmartre is a Virtual Atelier: a community of artists and their students, working side-by-side in a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth.
Our talented Artists work extremely hard to help cultivate the inner artist in all of our students, we believe everyone has an artist inside them, and we want to help you find your artistic voice.
why the name Montmartre?
Montmartre is a neighborhood in Paris known as the Arty District
Near the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th, during the "Belle Époque", many artists had studios in Montmartre, including impressionism and
post-impressionism painters like Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Suzanne Valadon, and Vincent van Gogh.
here in Montmartre they shared ideas, developed creative painting styles, and started new art movements.
